Mount Cameroon Race Last Sunday in January The annual "mad race" requires athletes to run up and down Mt. Gabsibuin Godlove runs to collect FCFA 10 millionn as winner of the Mount Cameroon race of Hope, his fifth victory. Among the 550 were 18 international athletes from Britain, France, Kenya, Nigeria among others and there were 3 Kenyan women and a Zimbabwean who took part.Health parameters such as physical fitness, blood sugar and blood pressure of each athlete were properly checked by the regional delegation for public health.These athletes run from the start point, ascending the mountain following a path up Mount Cameroon and back to the Omnisport stadium which was the start point.
